We support performance
We have high expectations of ourselves, the adherence of our quality standards are continuously checked. We also expect commitment and motivation. In exchange, we support them intensively, individually and respectfully. In our schools, 950 students are taught in small classes, however we only accept 70 boarding students. Because of the small communities, we can emphasize individual supervision. Performance and experience of success strengthen self-esteem. In the supervised study halls in the afternoons the class material is explained additionally in study modules, homework is done, exams are studied for, or questions are discussed in individual talks with teachers and educators. During rhetoric class, students learn to present and act with self-assurance. Participation in choir or orchestra also helps to reduce stage fright. Independent work is practiced during the self-organized studying, which is a fixed part of the specialized classes.
We strengthen Society and Personalities
The Zinzendorf Schools are distinguished by their great commitment for the arts, artistic and theatre pedagogical support as well as strengthening social projects, one partner being the “Kindernothilfe” – a German charity organization for children in need. Environmental protection projects, an own One-World shop and the analyzing of current topics strengthen the development of an own opinion. The necessary freedom for self-development within the diverse extracurricular activities is ensured, among others through our broad range of clubs for sports, music, theatre and fine arts.
Next to that, we offer – according to the syllabus – many extracurricular events, excursions, lectures and class trips. Students of the 10th grade can gain first experience in different professions during a two-week professional internship.
Small and large appearances
Music and Theater have always been capitalized at the Zinzendorf schools. It starts in the lower grades, when each student either plays in an orchestra or sings in a choir. Even in these first school years, regular appearances are part of everyday school life, which among other things strengthens personality, community spirit and self-confidence. In addition to various orchestras and the jazz band, sophisticated theater productions are also produced every year in various theater companies.
Active sports
Our sports range from basketball to archery , gymnastics, Athletics and sailing to volleyball. For golf enthusiasts, golf plus offers exceptional opportunities in leisure and competitive golf.
Artistically creative
Artistic talents are reported in AGs and in the art profile to the general high schools supported. In our spacious and excellently equipped studios, schoolchildren can discover and live out their creativity to their hearts' content.
From stage sets for theater and musical productions, large exhibitions or film installations: with our cross-class and inter-class projects, we surprise and convince the public again and again - even far beyond school.

Wether in school or during a training - we prepare for tomorrow.
In class as well as during extracurricular activities, the adolescents get to know many different professional fields, competencies and challenges and gain team experience. This teaches them to act responsibly, actively and competently later in life.
In our general education and vocational school branches the adolescents gain insights to different professional fields through projects, practical course contents and professional internships, and learn important working techniques
